Google Maps utilizes GPS, Wi-Fi, and cell towers to estimate your location. We cache your location data on your device to facilitate these services. You can revoke this consent at any time by contacting us using the details provided at the end of this document.
We may also use your personal information for our business purposes, such as conducting internal research for technological development and demonstration. This is not considered the “selling” of your personal information.

If a longer retention period is required or permitted by law—such as for tax, accounting, or other legal obligations—we will comply with those requirements. Under no circumstances will we retain your personal information for longer than thirty-six (36) months from the date your account becomes inactive.
When we no longer have a legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it. If deletion is not immediately possible—such as when your personal information is stored in backup archives—we will securely store the information and isolate it from further processing until deletion can be carried out.
9. Security
We have established robust and reasonable technical and organizational security measures aimed at safeguarding the personal information we process. However, despite our diligent efforts to secure your information, no method of electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot assure you that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized parties will not find ways to bypass our security measures and unlawfully collect, access, steal, or alter your information.
While we strive to protect your personal information, you transmit such information to and from our Services at your own risk. We recommend that you access our Services only in a secure environment to further protect your information.

You also have the right to withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal information. Please note that these rights may be subject to certain limitations as permitted by applicable law.
12. How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise your rights, please contact us by submitting a data access request to us at policy@field-io.com.
13. Request Verification
Upon receiving your request, we will need to verify your identity to confirm that you are the individual to whom the information pertains. We will only use personal information provided in your request for verification purposes. If we cannot verify your identity with the information we have on file, we may request additional information to assist in verification and for security or fraud-prevention purposes.
If the request is submitted through an authorized agent, we may need to collect further information for identity verification before processing the request. The agent must also provide a signed written authorization from you to submit the request on your behalf.
14. Appeals
Under certain US state data protection laws, if we decline to take action regarding your request, you may appeal our decision by emailing us at policy@field-io.com. If you are a California resident and wish to make such a request, please submit it in writing to us at policy@field-io.com.

Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually adjust your browser settings to remove or reject cookies. However, please be aware that this may affect the functionality of certain features or services within our Services.
18. Do Not Track Features
Most web browsers, as well as some mobile operating systems and applications, offer a Do-Not-Track (DNT) feature or setting that you can activate to indicate your preference for not having your online browsing activities monitored and collected. Currently, there is no established uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals. As a result, we do not respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your preference not to be tracked online.
Should a standard for online tracking be adopted in the future that we are required to comply with, we will update this Privacy Notice to inform you of our practices regarding DNT signals.
In accordance with California law, we must disclose how we respond to web browser DNT signals. Due to the absence of an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not currently respond to them.

We may update this Privacy Notice periodically. Any updates will be reflected by a new “Revised” date at the top of this notice. If we make significant changes, we may notify you by prominently posting a notice of the changes or by sending you a direct notification.
